The latest Libra Solar Ingress cast for Rome shows Uranus at the IC. The same zodiacal degrees are soon going to be stimulated by a Full Moon at 8 degrees of Taurus. The Italian Republic foundation chart (June 10th 1946) features the Moon (mundane ruler of the population and its well-being) at 4 degrees of Scorpio, in close opposition to transiting Uranus and the upcoming full Moon.
This shows how a quarterly mundane chart’s reactivation caused by a subsequent Lunar Phase can unlock the latent potential of a planetary configuration which occurred even months before.
Each Solar Ingress into Cardinal signs determines a pattern which is valid for the following three months.
This remarkable Uranian Full Moon promises to awaken worldwide dissent, as Governments exasperate their people with new lockdowns. The final Jupiter-Pluto conjunction of mid-November, linked with the enactment of unprecedented legislative measures, promises to deal the final blow to a crumbled world which is now in urgent need to find a solution to the current crisis and start living anew.
Hoping for ‘social rebirth’, as we approach the much-awaited ingress of both Jupiter and Saturn into freedom-oriented, humanitarian, ideological Aquarius.
A new economy? A vaccine? A new beginning for humanity?
The following chart represents the widely used astrological birth of Thailand as a nation. Reportedly, such time was chosen under astrological advice, and it still represents a solid zodiacal foundation for the country.
The chart’s Meridian axis is being powerfully activated by the ongoing transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and Mars. On September 29th, Saturn made a direct station at 25Capricon20, very close to the national Midheaven. Understandably, power-related issues are raging across the country. With Uranus still within orb of the national Ascendant, the population now seeks some sort of realignment. As it triggers the national Chiron-Pluto square, it is currently reawakening issues of power abuse, cast divisions and popular suppression. In fact, the young generations in particular are strongly questioning the validity of the monarchic rule. In the 2020 Libra Ingress chart, Uranus features exactly at the Ascendant, a factor which enormously increases the validity of the same symbolism. Uranus is known for ‘awakening’ the collective consciousness by demanding rationality and freedom. Obviously, until transiting Pluto clears the 9th House and moves away from the national Midheaven, the situation may not be fully resolved. Also, 2021/22 will bring a powerful square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. Understandably, Thailand will be among those countries to be directly affected by the clash between those two archetypal forces. Important developments are expected for mid-November, when the final Jupiter-Pluto conjunction ramps up the rhetoric and Mars stations direct in conjunction with Thailand’s national Aries Sun.
As explained in ‘A Crumbled World Feels the Wind of Change‘ the battle between ‘new’ and ‘old’ social patterns will be dominating the world at large; such process promises to be particularly critical for Thailand and its people as well.

The world impatiently waits to see what happens with the US Election… Can astrology really help us cast any predictions? On October 31st a unique Full Moon will fall at 8Taurus38, in very close conjunction with Uranus the ‘Awakener’. Being the second Full Moon which occurs this month, we can consider it a ‘Blue Moon’.
What can we expect from such a revolutionary astrological event?
Indeed, the upcoming US Presidential election will be strikingly noisy, to say the least. Whatever the outcome, the planetary configurations at play suggest that a great deal of social movement will occur. Uranus ‘awakens’ the masses, raising collective and humanitarian issues. Traditionally, astrology associates it with high-level leadership and decision-making, as opposed to the executive nature of Saturn. In other words, Uranus is often prominent where issues concerning the ultimate decisional power of a nation are most active. Therefore, Uranian influence generally becomes manifest through parliamentary issues. Under Uranian force, the attention shifts to the ‘group’, and the collective psychological scenario sees a resurgence of collectivist ideals. With Uranus featuring so prominently within a mundane astrological chart, a great deal of popular excitement usually becomes manifest. Whichever the outcome of the election, we may expect disputes or protests against the results.
Foreign policy issues remarkably dominate the current Libra Solar Ingress chart for Washington DC (read Autumn Equinox 2020 Cosmic Forecast). The current soli-lunar cycle (lunation) directly stimulates the Equinox chart’s descending Mars in multiple ways. Issues regarding foreign policy and direct confrontations with other countries are in fact prominent these days. Evidently, this election is strongly concerned with the country’s relationship with China and the Middle East.
The astrological community has been writing a lot about the Inauguration chart, which suggests a very heated presidency. I will write more about it in due course… let’s get back to our analysis of the Election…
Mundane Analysis of the Election
Going back to the upcoming Full Moon, the chart for Washington DC suggests a very interesting fact. We find an angular Venus-Chiron opposition in Cardinal signs, with Venus in Libra (dignified) elevated by the Midheaven. Also, the MC stands 135 degrees away from the Neptune-Pluto midpoint. With both the MC and 10th House representing the ruling party’s experience, a very complex picture emerges. Venus-Chiron aspects normally carry the essence of wounded idealism. Venus also features prominently within the Autumn Equinox chart, at the very apex of a tight Yod. Similarly, the Virgo Midheaven in the Winder Solstice chart cast for Washington DC is tightly connected with the Venus/Neptune midpoint. Interestingly, the MC and its significators are involved with Neptunian configurations in those three mundane charts. At the time of the next Full Moon, retrograde Mercury will be involved in an applying square to Saturn in Capricorn, which strongly suggests difficulties and delays with the bureaucracy of the election. Interestingly, on Election Day Mercury will station direct under the same strenuous and static square to Saturn. It will take a few days for it to clear the area and move on. We may witness some kind of general reassessment.
The big picture suggests a messianic, yet compromised and possibly scandalous feeling associated with the ruling party
On the other hand, we find a retrograde Mars in Aries (also dignified) as the ruler of the IC (the opposition party’s experience) within the Full Moon chart. Despite being resentfully bullish, that Mars is also involved in a very complex planetary configuration. Its long retrogradation has been fomenting lots of anger and restlessness around the world lately, as it goes about reassessing its own assertiveness. This means that, despite being dignified in Aries, it still has a lot to work on before it clears up its own clutter. Remarkably, it will be clear from those squares to the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto trio by the Inauguration in January! Until that day arrives, we may expect reversals and sharp turns. The energies will be wild indeed in November. On Inauguration day, it will also align with Uranus, gaining renewed strength and pushing forward through Taurus.
This very complex picture suggests that whichever party happens to win the election, there may be issues with the immediate results. The losing faction may ask for recounts and there may be confusion all around for weeks. It is possible that social unrest be instigated by the losing party
This consideration, simple as it is, constitutes an important part of our analysis, because it underlines the expectable instability of this election.
The Two Candidates
The astrological signature of this election is quite interesting, when looking at the individual lives of our two candidates. Donald Trump is going through an exciting Nodal return, with the transiting North Node reigniting his natal Sun-North Node configuration which naturally puts him in the social spotlight. A powerful, visionary Sagittarian Solar eclipse will fall in opposition to the same area of the zodiac in December. Interestingly, as these degrees seem to be strongly activated in the coming months, we can observe how both Trump and Xi Jinping will experience a strong planetary influence over their respective Gemini Suns. On the other end of the spectrum we find Joe Biden with an extenuating transit of Neptune across his Piscean IC, during a year which has had him involved with several issues reemerging from the past. Also, his chart ruler Jupiter is still being opposed by the forceful Capricornian trio, raising issues of morality and judgement. This long standoff acts over his 2nd/8th House axis, raising for him issues of a financial nature as well. This may in fact suggest big financial losses; however, which candidate does not lose lots of money after a presidential campaign?? Astrologically speaking, Biden is experiencing very consuming transits indeed, yet as a Democrat with Neptune in the 10th House and a self-redeeming Sun-Venus-Chiron square, he might even end up having to play the role of popular messiah described in the mundane charts, as discussed already. Even if such were the case, he would not really be able to do so without facing powerful dissolving energies all around.
In simple words, Trump is in a ‘building phase’, Biden is not.
Generally speaking, there is a very close connection between Trump and the American Independence chart, as it was the case for past Presidents. Astrologically, there is evidence about the recurrence of natal placements around 20-24 degrees of Mutable signs in the natal charts of US presidents, regardless of their popularity. In fact, we need to keep good perspective in all this, and remember how even ‘unpopular’ leaders may in fact be serving an important mission which is in accordance with the long-term divine plan.
Our present as gateway to the future
Years of astrological research have shown me that there is no ‘mistake’ whatsoever in the unfoldment of collective dynamics. The feelings which arise during a certain historical period are simply representative of an experience which the contemporary population is bound to go through, in order to develop awareness and move forward towards the next step in the cyclical unfoldment of historical phases. Living in the present, it is reasonable to actively judge and interact with the ongoing issues, yet it may be highly constructive to look at the big picture and realize the importance of the historical shift we are now facing.
This election has to be put into perspective, considering that the nation is currently approaching both its Pluto return and the second Neptune opposition. The last time Neptune opposed the placement it held at the time of the 1776 Independence Declaration was in the mid-1800s, at the time of the Civil War. Old social issues are visibly resurfacing all across a nation which is not sure whether to clear out its colonial past or acknowledge the historical value of those actions which the making of this great country entailed.
Wishing the best for a country which now stands on the verge of evolutionary change.
All the best, USA!

Time in here slows down I feel Life reversed Clearly I can see Sides along this road with my fears and hopes Fleeting as it is The journey of this Life Steers away from light
Cold becomes my face Dry wind touching it I let go of those lines Which once so safely moored me To a world of greed Good ol' Man demands Listen to thy Soul Wait for light to come
A clear energetic shift is occurring right now. Those who appreciate their innate sensitivity may have felt the powerful station of Saturn these days. The planet of ‘wisdom’ has been moving through Capricorn since December 2017, reassessing structures and boundaries worldwide. Having already made a quick entrance into the next sign, it will eventually enter Aquarius in two and a half months, on December 17th.
What is this sign change going to be about?
Aquarius is an Air sign, so the upcoming transit of Saturn, its co-ruler, will address the intellectual side of things, steering away from the phase of dismantlement we have been going through. Though it seems that this world has recently slipped into unmanageable chaos, the Capricornian frenzy which has been dominating the global scene since January 2020 has actually opened the gates of triumph for humanity. Though it sounds quite controversial, this has to be contextualized within a long-term view of social evolution. Since late 2017 the buildup of static energy has been proceeding at a very slow and almost indistinguishable pace (in perfect resonance with Saturn’s symbolism), affecting global politics, finance, the environment and individual lives.
Visibly, the gradual buildup of conservative energy has coincided with the approaching phase of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction, which this year has manifested in the form of a massive reorientation of social dynamics.
As Saturn new stations retrograde we all look at new ways of making business, restarting a severely damaged economy and embracing the demands of Nature in more authentic ways.
I am confident in saying that the long transit of Saturn through Capricorn, with the peak experience of its meetup with Pluto and Jupiter will be seen as a necessary process of ‘Collective Ego-shedding‘.
Shortly, the world will enter a new phase of conscious evolution, dictated by the 29-yearly cycle of Saturn, as it aligns with Jupiter in early Aquarius on a historic Airy conjunction. The stream is shifting towards the interconnections of futuristic life, and possibly technocracy.
Hopefully the human race will manage to understand where boundaries need to be drawn around the delicate spirituality of Man, without being affected by the products of its own brutal, yet divine intellect.
Aquarian energy at its strongest…The next lunar month starts with the New Moon of February 11th.It will occur at 23 Aquarius, accompanied by an extraordinary alignment of Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn in the same sign.It seems quite obvious that humanitarian themes will reach an unprecedented climax between February and March. At the beginning of […]

Doubtful my reign Lonesome my Heart Fearful of now To this void I bow
Lost on the way Tears help me pray Rain hits the ground So silent this sound
Strife rules my heart Warrior depart Go find the Light That way seems right
Finally I see Love always wins Healing it be The Journey begins...
In modern astrology, an understanding of the cycle of Chiron has helped us transition towards a more spiritual, less fatalistic view of the cosmic dynamics. The powerful mythological image of the Wounded Healer leads towards profound changes and inner awakening. The greediness of this world of ‘form’ subsides in front of the wisdom of our maverick Centaur.
News such as the US President getting ill, the Russian journalist Irina Slavina setting herself on fire and dying for ideological reasons and the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict are clear manifestations of the current astrological weather.
In fact, the latest Full Moon was conjunct Chiron in Aries and it occurred on October 1st (read The Planet Searches for its Lost Well-being). This lunation has been showing us the power of renunciation and individual defeat. Chiron talks about healing through surrender and compassion. This goes a long way off the modern view of individualistic empowerment.
