Life has its own unique ways of showing us the right path to follow. Sometimes we feel like we’re moving in circles, but in fact we are just blindly following a meandering road. New chapters open, other ones close, that’s a recurring pattern. If we observe attentively enough, we find that truth within, and maybe we manage to navigate change with ease. In the middle of such process we may reach obscure depths, as life brings us face-to-face with major crisis, or even death. That’s the simplest way I can describe Pluto’s mysteries, its cycle being so long and irregular that we all experience its astrological influence differently.
Collectively, we have been through a massive metamorphosis, as many aspects of our lives were suddenly stripped away by the circumstances. This Full Moon reminds us of how deep we have gone and what treasures we have uncovered. In Cancer it addresses our emotional framework, it shows us the Soul’s abode, the importance of belonging. The Sun and Moon happen to align with Pluto this time, so it carries the experience of crisis, upheaval and barrenness.
Such a ‘volcanic’ lunation can trigger collective compulsion, especially in the stock market. Let’s not forget this adds up to the ongoing USA Pluto return.
The recent eruption in the Pacific is probably an emblematic episode. Nature shows us its synchronistic trends now more than ever. In a world infused with symbolic synchronism, we have paved the way to a better future, but the process is painful nevertheless.
This world appears to have gone mad, prey of Pluto in Capricorn’s deepest fears and compulsions. We have somehow redefined our moral codes, yet I’m sure one day we will look back and struggle to justify the witch hunt which is now plaguing our society. Over the last couple of years, many have touched rock bottom, others have soared high or even left us. Nevertheless, everyone has gone through transformation somehow. That is what we honour under this unique Full Moon.
