Uranus has turned direct, and the headlines are looking to the East once more.
Interestingly, the last Full Moon has brought Uranus into an angular position over Kiev. If we take into consideration that the very same 10th degree of Taurus actually coincides with the Russian chart’s sensitive Midheaven, there seems to be no question about the clear symbolism shown here. Traditionally, descending Uranus wouldn’t quite help in regard to diplomatic relationships, yet it could trigger that long-needed “shakeup”. I guess this represents the current situation quite well. In January 2021 I published a post in which I explained how this particular chart of Russia responds heavily to outer planetary transits upon its angles (this projection refers to the time in which the flag was raised in Moscow after the reorganisation of modern Russia in December 1991).
I’m already looking at the next New Moon of early February, an absolute Aquarian blast of ideological power, which will bring a spotlight onto the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square once more. In Kiev, the Sun-Moon conjunction will be rising, with Saturn right at the Ascendant. Are we looking at the possibility of authoritarian enforcement? We do not know how the situation will play out, and astrology should be regarded as a method to understand social trends, rather than to find straight answers. What we know is that the reactionary force of the current Saturn-Uranus waning square is being channeled into this territory, and the results have been obvious so far.
Let’s not forget that we always have a choice to step away from war and destruction.
May peace always prevail.
