Many remember the glamorous Jupiter-Saturn conjunction which made headlines back in December 2020. It fell in early Aquarius, opening another 20-year cycle characterized by widespread “reinvention”. Together with the gradual rise of the Planetary Index, and the Saturn-Uranus waning square in Fixed signs, this future-oriented Aquarian wave has been washing off a lot of outdated structures. Often tainted by a pinch of “reactionism” and “contempt for tradition”, this controversial Airy chapter has nevertheless helped us deepen our international and interpersonal connectivity. For instance, one could think about the rise of videoconferencing and the way it has revolutionised our lives.
Now that Saturn enters Pisces, we may feel this energy is fading away. What comes next?
We shouldn’t forget that the ingress of Saturn is only part of the picture, but it constitutes a reason for collective “empathy” to rise again. Many have probably seen the disturbing images coming from a massive high-security prison in El Salvador. Poignantly, that describes the kind of energies we may encounter from now on. One must use a bit of discernment to identify the symbolism involved: both the annihilation of the Ego and an overwhelming sense of regulation are strongly represented within the images recently broadcast.
Therefore, Saturn’s 2.5-year passage in Pisces will likely direct our attention toward several institutions, both of a charitable, corrective or religious type. We should also consider the Piscean signature the Vatican is founded upon; therefore, some sort of Catholic reformation might be unavoidable over the next couple of years. I would need to write many posts to list all the possible outcomes which I am able to think of (and still the universe does surprise us), so it would be best to focus on the fact that this is a great time to rediscover the collective currents of our subconscious side.
