Pluto has finally entered Aquarius, while Saturn slipped into Pisces. It is probably too early to determine whether we can feel a predominance of empathic or futuristic energy. Either way, we are going to live weeks, if not months of extreme transition. Looking ahead, we may struggle to envision the “truth”, but we stay aware of the changing tides. After all, what is “truth” if not the description of the reality which best conforms with our personal demands?
Saturn has recently entered Pisces, and it will be chasing Neptune for a while. They will dance back and forth, in and out of Aries within a couple of years.

In mid 2025 Saturn will get very close to Neptune, never quite reaching it before the 2026 conjunction. Their simultaneous retrograde station mid-year will probably represent a moment of major headlines, yet an opportunity to reassess our understanding of the major metamorphosis we are in the process of living through. Apart from the huge impact that the new Saturn-Neptune conjunction is likely to have on Russia and the ex-Soviet world, the centrality of “0 Aries” seems to suggest an important statement of collective rebirth.
It is in this climate of uncertainty, that our “reality” is challenged so dramatically. Many have probably noticed that Artificial Intelligence technology has become capable of producing images which can hardly be distinguished from reality. If fantasy and truth become enmeshed with each other, what kind of future are we heading towards?
The subversiveness of Pluto in Aquarius, symbolic of growth beyond the dictates of our structured world, gets mixed with the Piscean influence of a Saturn transit which tries to contain self-consciousness within the stormy seas of these surreal frenzies. So here we are; desirous to walk forward, yet dubious of the possible outcomes. Many of the current threats to our social setup are coming from the rapid erosion of this very boundary which normally allows us to distinguish the “real” from the “unreal”. In a recent interview, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman declared his fears about the risk of mass disinformation caused by a potential misuse of this technology. The rapidly developing impact and depth of man-made metaverses are starting to challenge our potential to honour the divine, irreproducible and transcendental creative Self. The vision of sceptics who are naturally aligned with the unemotional side of existence is now more than ever at odds with the generalized call of a spiritual world which severely questions the morality of such a radical artificialization of our world.
Amongst the uncertainties of the current liminal epoch, there may be reasons to be excited about the Minor Grand Trine which will occupy the skies around the time of that Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Closing a two-year chapter of Piscean reorientation, self-scrutiny and decay, we may eventually walk into a world eager to expand its horizons in yet new ways. Regardless of the obvious struggles which every rebirth entails, the likelihood of reaching great new scientific and ideological heights is written in this astrological pattern.
